A Little Look From Our Corner of the world

                           Happy Holidays

In mid-December 2008, Neuqua Valley High School put on it's annual "Crystal Concert" series.  This is an amazing collection of music (mostly holiday-related) performed by all of the various music disciplines at the school.  This is an impressive collection of musicians from jazzy scat choruses, symphonic orchestras, strings and bands, chamber singers, jazz orchestras and ensembles, sax quartets, bassoon quintets, flute duets, klangefarben ensemble (percussion), and a number of vocal ensembles and choirs.

Of course, my favorites tend to lean toward the jazz ensembles, but they are all extraordinary musicians, which makes it apparent why this is a Grammy Signature award-winning school.

I've included their music below, sit back and have a listen.
